Farm Activities

Use these maps to explore farms in your area and experience the year-round abundance of the Maine farming community. All of the farms included on our map are part of MFT’s Farm Network and are either protected with an agricultural conservation easement or have participated in our other programs to grow their business or adapt to a changing environment.

Summer Activities

Summer on farms brings with it the buzz of pollinators, the smell of fresh-cut hay, and the bounty that Maine farms have to offer. Buy fresh produce at farm stands, learn about your local farm on a tour, get outside at an on-farm event like yoga or a cheesemaking class, pick your own fruit, and more.

Winter Activities

While fields are blanketed in snow, and the excitement of summer has quieted, there is still plenty of activity on Maine farms in the wintertime! Ski or snowshoe through snowy farm fields, eat good cheese and winter veggies, meet barn cats in cozy farm cafes, and build new relationships with local farmers.
