How can farms grow the health of our climate, communities, and economies? Join us and our friends at MOFGA for a screening of the new documentary film Common Ground, followed by a panel discussion with farmers and leaders from MFT and MOFGA, including our President & CEO Stacy Brenner and Board member Caitlin Frame.
Through the lens of "regenerative" agriculture, the film explores the history of farming in North America, the evolution of industrial agriculture, and the power of soil health to help grow a more resilient food and farming system. After the film, our panelists will have a conversation about how Maine farms are investing in the health of our soils and our rural communities – and what we all can do to help.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 12th from 1-3:30pm at the Portland Museum of Art as part of their popular Art in Bloom series. Get your tickets now; seats will fill up fast!
