Maine FarmLink

Maine FarmLink is a farm transfer program that connects farmers seeking farmland with retiring Maine farmers and other farmland owners who wish to see their agricultural lands remain active.

Linking

Prospective Farmers are linked to farmers looking to sell or lease their farms, based on their respective interests, needs and goals. Assistance is also offered to farmers seeking management positions and farms with seasonal land rentals.

Referrals

Farm transitioning often requires assistance from a variety of professionals and organizations. Maine FarmLink refers both farmland owners and prospective farmers to the people that can help them complete a successful transfer.

Guidance

Once a link is established, the program helps guide participants through the transfer process.
